Sahara

Our gorgeous girl Sahara is a beautiful, intelligent 3-year-old desert rescue with an energetic, alert personality. She loves engagement, enjoys routine, and forms strong bonds with the people she trusts. Anyone who shows her love and kindness she will remember them and greet them affectionately.

Rescued from Saudi Arabia as a puppy, Sahara has spent much of her life in kennels and is now being fostered in Aberdeenshire by a behaviourist where she is making excellent progress and is thriving with structure and clear guidance.

Sahara has made lots of progress in her foster home. She is good with male dogs but needs a managed introduction to females. Sahara has always been good with cats and is currently living happily with them. Sahara's toilet training has shown a vast improvement and she now asks to go outside. Sahara is extremely intelligent and would thrive with someone who was prepared to build on this.

Sahara would benefit most from a child free home in a rural location which already has dogs and offers her a high level of routine and consistency. She would love a large secure garden and lots of walks for exercise and stimulation.
