Ralph and Alba - Available February 2026
Ralph and Alba are just the loveliest pair of dogs you could meet. They were rehomed by us in Saudi Arabia, but a change in their owners circumstances meant they were returned and are now looking for a new home together in Scotland. They are totally devoted to each other so we will be rehoming them as a pair. It would be heartbreaking to split them up. Ralph is 2 1/2 years old and he is the shy one but once he knows you he is full of love. Alba is just over a year old and is outgoing and playful, just a wonderful girl. If you can give them the perfect home together there would be a reduction to our usual fee per dog They are both neutered, vaccinated and microchipped and can travel to Glasgow Airport in February. Take a look at their videos and pictures below ⬇️ and more info also on our Available Dogs page
Important Announcement - Fosters Required
We are looking for foster homes for two of our larger dogs. Zico, who is in residential boarding in Scotland and Nora, who is a Husky we plan to fly to Scotland in February. Sadly both dogs come with their individual issues so we are looking for experienced foster homes, within specific criteria pertaining to each dog.
Zico is a neutered male around three years old who was initially adopted from us in Saudi Arabia. His adoptive family later moved to Dubai where Zico, for reasons we can only imagine, became anxious, withdrawn and scared. He would bark at anything and everything, he would refuse to go on walks, and he was (and still is) particularly frightened of men he doesn't know and cars. He is currently being looked after and rehabilitated by the amazing Zowie and Sean at Drums of Park Kennels in Aberdeenshire but they can only take him so far. He needs a pet free and adult only home with foster experience who can help him to continue his path back to being the handsome, happy boy he once was.
Nora is a Husky type neutered female around two to three years of age. She came to us in poor condition and had signs of severe neglect and abuse. She was found tied up in a corridor outside an apartment, alone, scared, and with no food or water. She has been so poorly, but she is now out of the hospital wing and becoming more like the amazing dog she should be. She appears to be good with other dogs and with cats but, unsurprisingly, she can exhibit defensive behaviours with people she doesn't know. She is still in Saudi Arabia and is due to fly to Glasgow in February. We need a foster home for her who are experienced with Husky/Arctic breeds, who have securely bordered land, able to give her the long walks she needs and, due to our policy and her issues, we would only consider homes with older children of over approximately 14 years old. Other resident pets in the home would be considered on a case by case basis.
If you think you can offer a foster home to either of these dogs please get in touch through our usual channels: sandtosofa@gmail.com or Whatsapp +447774 804254 (Nadia) or +447359 833660 (Steve)
*At present we are only considering foster homes in Scotland*
