This is Bonnie. She has had just the saddest life so far. When Bonnie was rescued she had been in a bin for a week and was fortunate to have just minor superficial facial injuries. However she was deeply traumatised and it took a long time for her to come out of her shell. We also believe she was used for breeding from a young age and had her puppies taken away too early which has left her with a need to carry around soft toys. She is a soft, sweet girl and is happy around other dogs. She wouldn't mind being an only dog as she has such a gentle loving nature. Bonnie is 5 years old and at around 10kg she is a fairly small dog. She likes to have a safe space to quietly lie down in.
Bonnie had been adopted and was due to fly to Glasgow on our December flight. Unfortunately she was found to have problems with the knees on her hind legs prior to flying and her adoption fell through. Her legs weren't causing her pain but she is having surgery to correct the problem and the vet assures us that this is a commonplace procedure and the prognosis for her is excellent.
Bonnie will now be available for our February flight after her recuperation period and we would love for her to have a special home to go to. See her pictures and videos below ⬇️
